1/2 yard of ale glass. There are no real rules to Hero to Zero, except to drink 1/2 yard of ale as fast as you can. Just fill the ‘half yard stick' up and get drinking! If you're a hardened drinker and can down the lot in one, you'll earn the coveted ‘HERO' rating. If you're spluttering beer across the room after one mouthful, you'll be faced the utter humiliation of being branded a big fat ‘ZERO'! In between there are interim markers such as good effort or lightweight.
